Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish optional
- Green onions, thinly sliced for garnish optional
Instructions:
Put olive oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat
It will take about 5 to 6 minutes of cooking after adding the chicken slices to the pan until they are browned and fully cooked
Take the chicken out of the pan and set it aside
If you need to, add a little more olive oil to the same skillet
Then, add the ginger and garlic that have been minced
Saut for one minute, or until the food smells good
Stir-fry the asparagus for three to four minutes, until it's soft but still has some bite
Put the cooked chicken back in the pan
Put in sesame oil and soy sauce or tamari
Add pepper and salt to taste
Mix everything together well, and cook for another two to three minutes
If you want, you can add sesame seeds and green onions as a garnish
Enjoy while hot!
