Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 8 small flour tortillas
- Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions for garnish optional
Instructions:
In a crock pot, put the chicken breasts
Put the ranch dressing mix and taco seasoning mix in a small bowl and mix them together
Season the chicken breasts with the mix of spices
Cover the chicken with the salsa and chicken broth
Leave the lid on and set the heat to low
Cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until the chicken is soft and can be easily shred with a fork
While the chicken is cooking, shred it and mix it with the cooking juices
Add the cheddar cheese and sour cream and mix them in well
Put the lid back on and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the mixture is hot all the way through
You can heat the flour tortillas up in the microwave or on a pan
Put some of the chicken mix on each tortilla
If you want, you can add chopped cilantro, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions as a garnish
Fold the tortillas in half and serve your tasty crockpot ranch chicken tacos
